Can a STOCK 996TT Motor Put Down 800-900RWHP?
#19
Hey, now we wanna know what you guys were doing there... I assume those are stock rods. Yeah, how much TQ? Just a ballpark... I also remember ways back someone bending a rod because of pump fuel and too much boost 1.3bar-ish...perhaps not a good tune as well but not sure.

Even though TQ bends rods I hope no one thinks that they can safely run 1.8 bar and produce 900rwhp.. because that's what will take on a gt30r and or gt35r turbo with a stock motor...

How do you like the HP curve on my turbos? Look at 5K ,6K, and 7K( still climbing)...
Peak numbers are great but that is not the whole story...
BTW, nothing to take away from dyno above... just showing that it can be done... granted not on meth injection nor at 26 psi... ( I would never do that in a stock block).
This is very doable for an affordable price.
and Bobby's car at 1.4 on 104 Unleaded

Bobby's old White Car that is now in Mpls has made quite a stir here.
It is absolutely WAY FASTER than a sum of its parts...The thing makes
no sense at all out of its older proto intake set-up, K24/20's and stock internals. The Car is WAY FASTER than mine !

We should definitely heed Chad's warning, especially if he
can cite the approximate amount of torque that bends rods.
Now, for argument, let's say it's some number XYZ ft/lbs,
and that some marginally smaller number, XXX is safe. Then,
assuming we can generate that amount of torque at high
RPM, then the maximum HP a stock motor can produce will
be a function of XXX * the max RPM. So the next question
is what is the safe maximum RPM for a stock motor? And
is that the same RPM when we're producing XXX ft/lbs as
when we're producing less?
And of course, the motor is going to wear out much
quicker running at these power levels.

Which car of Bobby's and which turbos Marek?

I heard that 20g car form Bobby is fast.. I talked to your friend with the gt2. It actually did really well against a Alpha 30r turbo... ( how ironic considering it supposed to be SO weak according to many)...
This Dyno is Bobby's other car( one of few) .. it runs our custom garrett non ball bearing turbos... same as on Cory's car... and it blows away the 20g....

Hi Mark, just to put things in prospective, all these cars are different in so many ways...tune, headers, heads, cams. Everybody is trying different configurations not just the turbo's. Example look at my Dyno sheet compared to other Alpha Cars. it all depends on what combination is put together & make it work. A 20g turbo will be killer if you could find the right combo for it; as heads/cams/tune...etc. same goes for a lot of these turbo's. Not that their bad just the combo. IMHO
my point is was that its a 20g car from Bobby and usually they run a little faster hehe
