I'm considering an ECU stage 1 or stage 2 upgrade on my 996 turbo -01.
Is there anyone here who has any experience with FVD or Manthey Motors and would like to share it??

FVD seem to have a relatively low price. Is the quality/standard of there products also low, or is it a praiseworthy solution?

I'm thinking about FVD's "Level 1 360 kW (490 PS)" (Sport Motronic DME exch/Sport Airfilter) or "Level 2 375 kW (510 PS)" (Sport Motronic DME exch/Sport Airfilter/Sport Sportmuffler) upgrade.







Why should I pay twice the money to have these products from Manthey Motors ?

I actually can't help you with the actual purchase as you are outside the US. You would have to contact FVD Germany or one of our vendors over there to actually purchase a kit. However, I can help with questions you might have or if you will be purchasing it here in the US for some reason .

Not sure whats going to happen, there is probably a good chance we won't get what we want for it and I will keep it. If we do sell it, I will probably start driving the 04 ttcab.

HAHA, my bro lives here, so I am up visiting. I am actually leaving tonight!!! I was at 3Fourty last night till about 11 then went into the city and shot some pool on 95th till the morning . Fun times . If I was going to be here longer I would have announced it, but I am heading up to Albany tonght and then VT to do some skiing at Killington for Tgiving!!

Gary: The U Coat It came out much better than I expected. Doesn't look like you just painted the floor, it actually looks like a showroom floor!! We did the black with the "Granite" flakes (Black and white) and did the U Gloss on top. I have only finished one garage and will take some photos for you when I get home. BTW, you need 2 people for sure to get it done right.

Nice. Enjoy. How deep in VT? Hit Jay Peak if you can.... and if you swing through Mass, Okemo works NICE.

 

We are only going to be going to Killington. They seem to have the best conditions thus far (20 trails). I do like Okemo (was on their race team for 2 years), but not as much fun as Killinton's runs. Jay peak is sick, been there a couple times, but I am not sure if they are even open yet??
