Are KWs worth the extra $ over PSS10s
I'm trying to decide on a set of coil overs. My main goal is to get the ride height the way I want and to get rid of the front end float. My car may see the track only once or twice a year. I do not plan on adjusting the suspension on a regular basis. Once it is set I will leave it alone. Are the KWs really worth the extra money over the PSS10s? Also how much did you pay for install, alignment and corner balace on your set up? Thanks for any input.

Dave,
I don't know how much more money the KWs are, but I've had PSS9s in my 02 Carrera and they were great. If your main goal is for ride height and to tighten up suspension a bit, the PSS10s will more than do that for you.

Agreed. The PSS9's will lower and stop the front end float. I set mine to my liking in 2002 and have not touched them since.

Having looked at Sport PSS9s and KW's V3, I'm probably going with KW Club Sport. My suspension shop recommended them above V3, because they come with camber plates and he said for street and occ track, you won't need to do sway bars.
To get similar set up with PSS9's, he said you need to spend more money(e.g. camber plates and sways), so at the end of the day, PSS9 setup is as or more expensive than KW V3.
Just waiting to hear back form anyone who has experience with KW CS. Otherwise, my vote is for the KW V3.

If you are the kind of person who always wants the more and better per se, go with kw.
I've had pss9 , pss10's, kw v2, v3's , motons, etc.
If you are price motivated and just want a solid coilover suspension sys, go with pss9s or 10s.
If its a couple hundred more for the better, go with the better and call it the day.
Hope my comment helps.

If you don't want to be adjusting your suspension all the time go with pss10's, the 9's are no longer sold and the 10's have been upgraded considerably. I am at GT2 ride height and can drop another 20mm, I am at level 5 and very stiff. I will probably go softer, but for the track level 8 would feel like a race setup.
if you are going to go with a setup that has to be continually adjusted with, then JRZ is the next option over pss10

FVD still sell their revalved "sports" PSS9's.
Out of interest, how are the 10's better than the 9's?

The PSS10's are a great system. However, I'm a big fan of the KW V3's. Lately we've done a few installs with great results. One thing to remember is that while the Bilstein's offer one adjustment dampening, the KW V3's offer separate adjustments for compression and rebound, allowing you to really fine tune the ride quality. No more "bouncy" coilover ride! They also have externally mounted reservoirs. Both are great systems, but to really get that extra bit of adjustment, I'd go with KW. After, that adjustability is the main reason why we go with coilovers, right?
PM me, maybe we can put together a deal that works for you.

Here's my .02. First decide what kind of driving you are going to be doing{track, street, combo} and then make sure you get the proper spring rate for the car. All the shocks do pretty much the same thing, it's the spring set that will make or break your driving experience. The more expensive shocks usually offer various spring rates to choose from. You don't want to do this more than once, ask me how I know. Shop owners and techs are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.
Tom, can double adjustable shocks really compensate for too soft springs? That has not been my experience.
