I was hoping we'd get a time on your unique TB (twin babyseat) configuration!

Watch out for Eddie Bello, he's bringing his beast down from N.Y. That would be very interesting to watch, I hear he's after some more records. Chris, do you know how long the strech is in Florida after the mile ends? I know TX Mile's end stretch is 0.5mile. GL and be safe.

bello lives here now, its 10,499 feet so 1 mile to slow down should be a nice track.

I talked to multiple people that were at the event that questioned the organizers method of timing...
Apparently they were using a hand held radar gun (not lazer) to determine terminal speed. Most people that where at the event ended up using pboxes to determine actual MPH...
Eddy Bello "trapped" 207/216 in FL and 229.3 in Texas in march. I think that kinda gives you an idea of the accuracy of the "Official" results .
This even will be run again in November. It should be interesting to see what improvements are made!

One of our cars went 196 according to the radar, after looking at the data on the Motec the front wheel speed sensors measured the ground speed at 214.9
Chris's run was low as well after the first pass so I loaned him my PerformanceBox to make a pass, which showed the 202.9 I believe it was. I 'll trust a Motec or PBox over a radar gun ANY day, hopefully they'll get their **** together for the next one and have real timing equipment.
