Easy Ben, your venting again. I said E-36, not E-46....Agreed, E-46's just never really shined and the motor problems are a black mark for BMW. Dinan on the other hand can be used nicely if you know which parts are worth getting, and those that are not worth the $$$.

Obviouvly everyone already knows I'm no fan of MB and their inherent handling/numb steering/slush box. I vote get the Elise or maybe a cheap turbo cab, 645ci. Just my $.02

Yep, the E36 M3 was probably my favorite car ever after the Stradale. The best performance items from Dinan are their ads.

Collin, that was low (no hair), but true ;-)

No mini for me, that's even more Matt Fresh like then the MB. I agree the SLK is a chick car but the SLK55 is much more agressive now. But then again you guys are probably right cuz you know MB will sell the same AMG kit next year on the SLK320 and every chick will be driving the same looking car.

The new boxster is a good idea. I went to Carlsen and they are coming in January. The S version will be like $60-$70K with all options so it's not cheap !

I checked out the Elise at lunch and the Redwood City dealership has 100 people on the waiting list and they aren't even taking orders anymore. But it is one Sexy car!!!

You can get em on ebay or elsewhere for $1-2k over sticker (typically from people who bought em and want to recover their sales tax etc.). see http://www.elisetalk.com

Yikes that's gonna be a hard sell for a 2002 unless, like you said, you find a buyer who is wanting to mod but wants a deal. One hell of a deal it would be to that specific type of buyer, though. Sweet.

Just Jealous that my SL600 runs circles around your Z8. Slush box? I guess the slush box at 90mph is tighter than the Z8's 9million dollar dinan springs around the William Lehman Causway by Sunny Isles Beach!
