Turbo S Cab "What's it worth?"
#47
Most of them are in the 70's with under 20,000 miles. Mine had 16,000 and I was lucky to get it from a dealer certified for 62,000. it took me almost a year to find it. Remember there are only about 400 of these out there

Are the majority of the 2005 TURBOS NON S cars??

Picked mine up in Dec of 09 for 75k +/- with 6800 miles on the clock
Being a Midnight Blue example, I pulled the trigger without hesitation as I had been looking for a non black/silver/gray car.

^^^ Yes, but then it would not be a Turbo S
Although I did not know the whole story when I first located the car, the more I looked into the Turbo S story, the more I became convinced I was happy with my purchase and the price.

There are some 2005 regular turbos. They were mostly end of year 2004s that were classifed by regualtion as 2005. Remember 2005 was the last year of the 996 turbo body style. So Porsche always does something for ending model year. Everybody knows the new turbo is coming so most people will wait for the new model so to create excitement they come out with a limited run while they tool up for the next model .

If you find the car you want, is clean & near the price range you are looking for, pull the trigger. Don't worry about it, cars are never a good investment. Finding the right car is the most important thing with the color combo & options you are looking for. A few thousand either way may cost you getting the car you want. Not as many deals out there now as there were 6 months ago with low mileage. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah it was a great deal I am friends with Paul Gavel the Sales manager and I had asked him a year a go to keep his eyes open for one and contact me as soon as he finds one. He called me right away when he got it and I had to make my decesion on the spot which I did. I knew how hard it is to find one so I did not hesitate. There are several nice ones on Auto Trader. There is one at Century Motors on Route 22 in Union which is nice but they want 72 for it they would not budge on the price but that was 5 months ago and it is still there.
