some early mile results

That also doesn't make sense because the more you load the clutch(ala higher gear and at a lower rpm)the more it slips. This has just been my experience.

you have experience?

I think maybe it was boost that was slipping... Aka going up?

Rob, as per our conversation last night...
The Mustang was a whipple car making 850 rwhp or so. The result of the race was VERY close, frankly too close for me to feel comfortable calling. They were dead even at the end of the race from our vantage point (at the 3/4 mile mark).
SW was running 950 rwhp during the roll races. He was on "medium" boost (as he calls it). Akram jumped at the 1/8th mile and knowing that he would have the default win due to the jump, SW went ahead and gave chase. By the 3/4 mile mark he had caught up to Akram. Again, at the 3/4 mile mark, the result was too close to call from our vantage point (at the 3/4 mile mark). It was clear though that SW's Gallardo was pulling pretty hard...imagine what that bad boy would do at 1,200 rwhp!!!
In either case, it was great to see you bring your car out. I wish you would have run the mile so we could all see the result. I ran my slow car and had a BLAST! See you around town and let's stay in touch.

Yes, I lost the first race to the Lexus. I did miss shift and that was enough to loose the race. There will be a video of that race and if you watch it I think you will see that I had 2 to 3 car lengths on Lexus. But non the less I lost the race. I do not know the outcome of the race today because I had to come back to Houston. Back it up wanted to keep the car there and use it in their filming of this event. Apparently the cars bluey raced was the black Lambo and the white Mustang both making over 1200 RWHP. If you see the video which I have not, my car apparently beat both of them.

If the Mustang belonged to Patrick or Blaine from PSI it was making 850rwhp. I maybe able to get them on the board to post. They have no reason to lie. In fact you do some research and try to find a Whipple only Cobra making 1000rwhp.
Face the facts honestly if you watch the video of CJ vs Rob even with a missed gear a 1100rwhp car should come around a 750rwhp car without a problem at all. If you want to argue with me about CJ's dyno numbers I'm sure Boost Logic can come in and verify them or maybe CJ himself will.

Chris's Lexus is a STOCK BOTTOM END car. He had the power at 750-800 rwhp for fear of blowing the bottom end and he was running 19 inch crap street tires. As for the whipple stang, creepy boy, you weren't even there, so keep your mouth shut and watch from the sidelines. I actually spoke to the owner, when asked about his power level, he said "right around 850..."
Really none of that matters as ALL the cars running the side by side were VERY fast! VRAlexander was nice to let Rob's car back in after losing to the Lexus...
