Thats just ridiculous!!! Congrats to Joe and EVOMS for advancing the ball yet again.
Separately, congrats and mad respect to EVERYONE who showed up and had the ***** to run their cars and obtain objective data. You guys are all studs in my book!!!
As to the nameless loud mouth who challenged the world, then ran a whooping 50mph, then lost to a Lexus, then lost to a late model whipple Mustang, you have been exposed yet again!!!

Black TT GTS Viper
Shakedown run on Friday was on base boost (1050 rwhp), rolled to the 1/4 @ 60 mph, then short shifted to 205 mph.
2nd run- kill mode @ 20 psi for me, rolled to the 1/4 @ 60mph, 5th gear @ 180 mph + 1300 tq > G-force tranny, spent the rest of the weekend watching you guys rip it up, although they did let me run my S550, that was painfully slow, especially when MB speed limits you to 132@ 1/2 mile mark.

found these pics including the rolling truck on this forum check er out guys
the truck was owned by an old man who was scared to run the truck past the 160mph mark. a so called friend of his said ill do it ive ran at Bonneville before. so this driver takes the truck through a massive burnout on its illsetup suspension for its power and traction issues. he then launches off the line doing a massive tire smoke gets squirely straightens it up bangs off 2nd gear and loses all traction comes so close to saving it but ends up sliding into the grass on the left side of track at my guess is about 60mph or so and the left side tires dug n he barrel rolled 3 times from my view.
lesson learned dont hand over the keys to a 1800whp(supposively on the bottle makes this much) truck that is not familar to the driver and your not prepared to loose your 80k show stopping purdy red truck.
on the bright side it had a proper well built cage and the driver was A-OK if there is a positive from this situation.
track was down for 3-4 hrs cleaning this up n trying to get the truck into the enclosed car hauler.
so be safe guys n dont do things like this guy did

I just looked at the site too. Pretty depressing I get the feeling there may have been a tear or two shed after yesterdays incident. Everyone go home and give your car a hug and tell it how much you love it.

That's a shame about that truck. At least the guy is OK.

This was my first Texas Mile. I'm happy to have gotten my C6 Z06 TT to 202.3 and the ZR1 to 190.3. Can't wait for the spring event and bringing the 997 GT2 w/ Alpha 3076 and a Proto tune to join in the fun. Really enjoyed watching everybody run. Great fun.

gtovan - are you the guy with the silver ZR1? I asked you on several occasions as to what your car ran and 190 is sweet... I was surprised that your car ran 190+ but now I see that she is making 673 rwhp and it makes sense!!!!! Congrats!
