Any word on the con-artist? I'm curious if any of his cars will ever live up to the hype.

Rob is here on the grid. He ran 51 mph, not a typo, that was what was announced and they clearly pulled out it in the middle of the run. I ran a 199 this am, Tom did 181 but had sunroof issues. He later ran 202. We are both going to run that file in the am and see what happens. We already picked up out 200 plus t shirts so we are happy. A lot busier today. Friday was definately the day to get runs in. The numbers for art and vr previously posted are what we were told as well. Got to meet the H town crowd today and it was a great meeting. Nice guys in person...

My guess is that Art is slowly ramping things up, which is smart since everything on his car is new and he's probably not entirely comfortable with it yet. I bet Art came close to doubling his hp at the wheels. Think about that for a sec, he may have (my SWAG) 100% more power than he did last year this time.

Update, at the roll ons 3ob did get beat by the lexus SC300 by about 4 cars lengths. The car had about 750RWHP.VR supra got beat by a local Supra as well by 4 car lengths as well. That Supra apprently had 1000rwhp. I met Art briefly and he seems very personable and I wish him well in the mile. He did mention that he is having clutch issues. Hopefully tomorrow everyone can get a clean, safe run so we can see how these cars actually run. I find it hard to be believe that Joes 224 run while mowing the lawn will be the top P car given all the strong cars present. That's the latest from the Mile....
