Folks-

I am looking at buying a 2002 GT2, which has been modified with a EVOMS 700 package, JRZ suspension, solid engine mounts, many other performance modifications.

It passed a 100 point inspection, but I am looking to find out more about the car before buying it. I know the answer is to find out who did the modifications, and how well they were done.

I want to track the car, and occasionally drive it on the street. I used to be a pro-racer, in IMSA with the 993 GT2 EVO (about 700 bhp in our race trim).

I know that Evolution Motorsports has a good reputation. If the car was in good shape, would it be useful as a track car (not drag-racing), and is this a reasonable strategy? I have a Ruf RTurbo as my daily driver and occasional track beast.

Is it the black one? Great car. For what you are planning on doing with it, it will be perfect.

It is the black car. It is a 2003 I believe, but I am trying to hunt down its history.

Call me crazy, but I miss racing when the boost used to come on without warning in the corners!

If you know anything about this car, I would appreciate any information.
