At 4,946 feet, you were traveling 2.5 mph faster this year than you were last year. Also, your 100-150 mph time last year was 3.87. This year it was 3.82.

Based on the data, I'm guessing you would have hit 233 mph at the mile point if your sunroof hadn't caved in. Still the fastest street Porsche on planet earth.
Sweet ,Thanks for that!I made a mistake and forgot to tape the roof!Duh!Had another 100 hp to play with if I could have run it more but who cares atleast I am here to talk about it.Always next year. Thanks for the graph brother!

Exactly. The car definitely has more left in her, and what's most important is that you are still here.

Next year I think 240 is possible.

How did it sound when the sunroof collapsed? Have you posted your impressions? We'd love to hear it!

Did you have to re-gear or are you taking advantage of a much higher redline? If my calc is right you would do about 230 at 8,000 RPM with stock gearing.

Never noticed Joe, but you have a pretty definitive sports car collection. How do you compare the Z06 to the Viper? If you could have one which would you choose?

are you presuming 25 inch tire diameter? if so, most drag radials or straight line tires will be taller. you can run a taller tire to get the higher top speed - 26-27 inch

I am going to post up some of my info just for comparison and also my observations especially with the Vboxes.

My car is the 2005 Ford GT TT/SC that ran 226.200 mph on Sunday.

My vbox was showing only 220 on the 226 run. The distance was not correct either. So, what this could possibly mean is Joe was running faster than 230 when all the fun happened.

I nailed a 4.52 second 60-130 on the 226 run as well. The way I drive my car from the start is I hit it fairly good in first and when the tires start to spin towards the end of first I slam it into 2nd and I get full traction from this point on when I use R6's. Keep in mind the GT's are geared VERY high (256 mph stock). You can see my 1/4 mile on the vbox is 11.02 at 151 mph. With a 4.52 60-130 there is no way my true 1/4 was 11.02, it HAS to be lower (I ran a 11.06 at 131mph verified at Hennesseys track with 609 rwhp).

In closing my opinion is the vboxes are great to use to compare to other vbox runs BUT they are not accurate like a 1/4 dragstrip or Texas Mile result will be.
