Guys it really doesn't matter because I still had 18lbs of boost left and about 10 degrees of timing to go.(About 400 more whp):-D On top of that I had the Nasa engineers(yes the ones that built the space shuttle)on a flight and were due to arrive Saturday to make the necessary aero changes. We were also flying in a new set of Toyo tires with a specially formulated compound based solely on the asphalt sample taken from the Goliad airstrip.Yeah I know .....I'm a baller :-D. LoL
How did you know about my secret Texas Mile tires!!!

VRJoe...has a nice ring to it but unfortunately you barely measure up to " the man, the myth, the LEGEND" .... But I have some pointers for you in your quest for internet immortality.. 1 you aint squat unless you have your own VRJoe logo and can con people into wearing it. 2nd you need to be rollin' down the BQE with the GTXXXX sporting " cncretebiz" on the plate. 3rd you need to download " Parachute Packing for Dummies" from VRknowsall.com. 4th you need your own lineup of VRJoe teddy bears to give to all the disciples. It will spout endless excuses why you choked at the Mile when you rub its belly. Finally, you need my dbox bro...

Well Said Marty. Question for all you guys that ran the mile: I felt a lane shift from L to R about one lane after 200mph and somewhere b/n 3/4 marker. Did you guys feel this shift also? This is before my catastrophic tire blow. Seemed the car went almost a lane to the Right.
without seeming like there was any particular reason.
Apart from potential aero issues I think it it the suspension travel(even marginal movement) conflicting with aero just enough to unsettle the car.
The other phenomana that happens at speed while racing side by side at high speed the cars tend to suck together-combined with the lane changing it is outright spooky.
