Crank & rod question for big HP guys....

For the built motor crowd are you guys running the stock crank? Any cross drilling mods etc?

What are the preferred rods Pauter or Carillo?

For the stock bottom end guys what power levels are you running and for how many miles with/without problems.

Pauter and Carillo both make very nice rods. Can't knock either one. We typically use Carrillos' for high HP applications as we have always used them and never have had an issue. No reason to switch.

The Pauters are nice because you don't have to knotch the oil pump. If there is no compelling reason to use Carillos over the Pauters the install will be much easier.
