Spark plugs and coil packs for modded car.

Spark plugs and coil packs for modded car.
I am going to change all my coil packs and spark plugs. What are the best performing sets to get for a 996tt that is modded. According to Tony at EPL my car is making around 750chp.
Mods on my Tip car are:
Alpa Gt28's
Meth injection
larger injectors
running 1.4 bars.
I have had the car around 6k miles with these items on and am now starting to see misfires.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Vince

I think you will find 3 different camps-
1. those people that like stock, if its not broke, why change- Bosch FR6LDC
2. copper guys who dont mind changing plugs after every oil change- NGK BKR7E
3. Denso PK20PR-P8, but most circles say platinum and meth don't play well together.

Its a great set up, If you have a tip I highly recommend it because the turbos spool up so quick and the car becomes a complete monster on the dragstrip. I raced a K24/18g off the line and just left it as it was stand still.

What was your 60-130 again? I think the 24/18's have gone 6.0.

Anyone tried Iridium plugs? I used these in a Supra and they not only lasted longer than anything else they fired wehn other plugs wouldn't. They also proved to be pretty good at cleaning themselves when I managed to foul them once :-O Since changing plugs on these cars is such a chore I'd think something long lived would be nice!

My best 60-130 sucked I only did a 7.8 thats because I need to practice and also because the car at the time was not running right. I need to borrow Markski's V-box so I can see whats up once the car is back at 1.3-1.4bar.

I use 7EIX NGK Iridiums in the Porsche. I have been on the same plugs for at least 5k, making between 550whp and 650whp without skipping a beat.

Chat with Tony... In my discussions with him, he recommended the Bosch plugs (may have gapped them differently) and didn't recommend aftermarket coil packs.
The thing that people don't realize at times (myself included) is that your car/overall package is a complex equation. You can't just go switching up variables here and there and expect your current tune to just work around it... (especially if you are looking for an optimized setup). This is why I don't like off the shelf tunes UNLESS you have a complete and strict hardwear package built around them...
In playing this game long enough with bikes and cars, I've learned to get your hardwear "set" and then tune as a first rule, and secondly, to TALK to your tuner first and get their "approval" before you go switching up things that might be affected...
Finally, if at all possible, each and every car should have its own custom tune (again, if possible). At least some datalogging and tweaks off of a base map at a minimum!
Hope that helps...

I went with the Beru coil packs and Tony told me to go with the copper NGK-BKR7E (6097 now 4644) spark plugs. Waiting for him to tell me what the gap is supposed to be set at. The only thing that sucks is that I will have to change these out every 5k mile.

I'm from the Supra world as well and when I did this silly chore of the plugs on my 996tt I put in the NGK iridiums as well in the stock heat range since my just mildly modded. No problems with them and they always lasted long in my Supra in the cold 9 heat range so I figured I'd try them in the 996tt.
