Gauge Setup

I am going with a custom Defi Gauge Setup. I will either go with 2-5 gauges, not sure yet my exact setup. You have to install the Defi BF Gauge Control Unit II. Then you have the following choice of gauges:

- Boost

- Ehaust Temp.

- Fuel Pressure

- Oil Pressure

- Oil Temp.

- Water Temp.

In order of importance, how would you rank the top 5. Thank you.

1. AIR FUEL RATIO (detonation related)
2. Exhaust TEMP(detonation related)
3. Oil Temp (gotta be warm to take the pounding)
4. Boost
5. Fuel Pressure

1-3 need to all go together. All 3 are important enough and have even more conclusive results when seen together.

1. Analog Boost Pressure
2. Exhaust Gas Temperature
3. O2/Air-Fuel Ratio (I would move this up to #2 if you run a wideband O2 sensor, otherwise it will help, but not as much as your EGT gauges).
4. Fuel Pressure
5. Oil Temp

the Defi set up looks great, and I rarely let price stop me, but $6k for three guages is nuts.

I've got the Defi boost & exhaust gauges. Nice choice! Be sure to post pics after the install.
Call SP for the hookup!
