Just an observation,
when most speak of 30r on 6 speed we usually assume they are gt3076rs with .82s...
maybe that is where the misunderstanding arose...
But since we are given to opportunity to examine the dyno it would be great to know what turbo is is exactly and what A/R is is using...
other mods list would be appreciated as well.. it only is beneficial for all...
good jpb,

Most of the true T3 Housing 30Rs on this forum are 3076 .63 a/r housings. I know that's what Jitsu has (I saw it with my own eyes at Tommy's shop when he first got the kit). The only people that had the .82 a/r were Scott and Jamie Carter.
Regardless it's hard to compare a car that was dynoed in RWD Dynojet that has about ~20% load on it to a car that was dynoed in AWD on a Mustang Dyno with 100% load. It's like comparing apples to oranges. I just know that the difference from going from a AWD Mustang Dyno to a RWD Dynojet dyno is a really big.

Cory, some food for thought. You ever wonder why your dyno numbers go for a sudden roller coaster? That would be a jack up of timing right at the end because you are on a high octane fuel.
Think about it this way yours peaks then falls 50hp and stays that way right till the end. Notice how Tony's just lets it go down instead of cranking up timing right at the end? I'm sure he could make it hold the power but at what cost?
You've also got to consider that he's making a good bit more power than you... Probably on the upwards of 60-70rwhp if not more on a Dynojet. He really isn't trying to push the motor hard when it's up that high!

Todd is going to clean up the file and we hope to hit the Dyno again soon, This time I will head over to the Mustang Dyno and strap her down and turn it up to 1.5 and see what she does.
EPL, Great job on a Turbo selection Cheers to Tial a well..

Powell actually the dip may be correct but with 104 in it its running rich dont you think its at 11.2

BTW great work tony at epl.

care to dig yourself out of that one 'scrappy'
and if you look at the very first response...the guy is asking if they are 3071's or 3076's..so no, we do not assume they are 3076's

What's this snow stuff you speak of? We don't have that stuff down here Although I'd probably hate it after awhile because I wouldn't be able to drive the car whenever.

Make sure if anything crosses your path that they feel the wrath of the P-car. Even if it's some mom in a minivan trying to get antsy!

What the **** is going on lately with all the insults? If someone has made a false assumption correct them don't ridicule them. My ****ing head hurts after about five minutes on here lately because of all the childish bull****. Interact like mature adults and this forum will be a much more valuable resource for everyone.
