Well after a few months of horrible anticipation my car is almost ready. Hans at RUF sent me an email to tell me it should be ready within the next few days. All I have to say about RUF is that they are VERY professional, helpful and have done a good job. Hans has communicated with me very well keeping me informed along the way. These guys give exceptional customer service, they go above and beyond what would be expected, at even a high end shop dealing with people who are used to getting their way, and quickly at that. The only thing that sucks is that I am in DC now and will have to fly back to get it, but at least I will finally be able to drive it. The anticipation has been killing me. I have stayed pretty focused on recovery, the Dr's think I will still have another year of recovery, but considering I was comatose for 6 weeks and they told my wife I would be in a nursing home for the rest of my life, I count my blessings, all 50 billion. I will take this over being in a nursing home sucking food through a straw. As soon as I pick the car up I will get some pictures posted. Thank you to everyone had kind words and support, I appreciate it a great deal. You would be amazed to see me now if you knew I was a 1, on a scale of 1 to 10, when they did a brain scan and looked for brain activity. People think I am lying when they find out about me, or think it is a hoax. I still have away to go, but I will take the daily struggle and grind, compared to what it could be. I am blessed and thankful for everyday.
