6 Pot Brake conversion, Help!!!

I have an opportunity to swap my brakes (Stock 996 Turbo) to Stock 997 Turbo brakes from a smashed car, they are 6 pistons calipers etc, questions is, are these a direct bolt on?

TIA for any help!

Should be. I installed those 997 turbo brakes into a 996 C2 with GT2 front wheel carriers. I needed 1,5mm shims between disc and hub to center disc properly to caliper.

EDIT: 997 turbo discs--> 996 turbo wheel carriers, no shims needed. 997 ( or 996 ) turbo discs ---> 996 GT2/3 wheel carriers, shims needed.

You don't need any shims.. just straight bolt on between a 996 turbo and a 997 turbo.
Make sure you get some GT3 air ducts.. it's cheap

Just run the fronts from the 997 and keep your 996 rears. I was told the brake bias would be off if you run the rears from the 997 turbo. They will bolt on but have too much rear bias for our 996 cars. I have a set of like new 997 turbo rear discs and rotors if anyone wants them. I hear you can use them if you are running larger brembo 8 pot fronts. I am running 997 turbo fronts with 996 rears.
