Anyone here driven one? Just wondering what your opinion on the car is. I've seen 2 on the road int he last week and realized I don't think this car has ever been discussed here.

Parker is infamous around these parts
Never driven in one, but if i do, I'll be sure to go fast enough to feel blood rush to my head upside down

Seriously though, this and the Carrera GT are about the only two cars in the world i'd buy sight unseen without test drives. This is the coolest supercar to date IMHO

That car is badass, but I doubt it could out accelerate the enzo in the 1/4

it weights 2750 lbs, that's about 300 lbs lighter. And I think Saleens power ratings are at the wheels. Not completely sure though but I think I remember reading that somewhere. It also has more torque from lower rpm's, we know torque is what wins drag races.

thing also pulled 1.02G's in C&D's old test

Yeah, they list Lambos and Mclarens slowest times ever recorded, along with their Fastest times. In terms of value, the Lambo offeres the best performance and style.

No Allen, actually, those times they list for their S7 were NEVER official recorded. For all we know, they could be a bunch of BS numbers that they calculated using math equations.

Unfortunatelym the S7 is one car I'd never consider, simply because of the attitude of Saleen. I've sat in the car, and it definitely feels supercar, it most likely performs ridiculously well ... but the BS that's served all day long is certainly not something I'd want to be affiliated with.
I'm not gonna quote exactly, but they're claiming it's the fastest, the most this, the first that ... and you don't even need to dig in a little to see it's BS. A supercar isn't like selling Rustangs!
Koenigsegg or Pagani is the kind of low-key attitude I'd be expecting from these kind of manufacturers.

The car has to be a terrific performer, though.

Well, that explains the optimistic figures. Road tests don't back these up at all, it's just not that quick. R&T got 11.8/119.9 for the 1/4 vs 11.1/133 for the Enzo.

Thats the 2003 S7... before they reworked the engine. But as I said, the 2004 S7 has never been officially tested before. So those times are basically BS.

Koenigsegg is low-key?

They are almost as bad as Saleen and Corvette.
