996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

How do I verify that a 996 has the X50 option?

mose55 is infamous around these parts
Not sure what is normal but i have 23k on mine and I track the car and dont have anywhere near those numbers (6500/125). Not saying it is a problem if the compression, oil consumption and all that come in fine.

I'm at 33000 miles and have a CRAP ton of Type I's and I can't remember how many Type II's, but it also doesn't help that I've shifted at 7400-7500RPM for a long while now.

Mine's been tracked a lot (and dragged) and it has around 6000 redlines and only 21 type 2's.(with 30k miles) Sounds like that car was driven hard....
