Some pics of my new GT2

there are cars out there some make that have a fuel system capable of 1200rwhp... running piggyback systems etc etc... all the plumbing, headers, Ics... etc etc are all done custom... yet they all call it bolt on...
If anyone is so naive to believe that anything over 700 hp is a simple bolt on then your smoking some good stuff because if you would see what goes into such a project you would freak out... lines are rerouted, custom oil lines, water lines, DVS are relocated, external Wgs etc etc the list goes on...

Also just an FYI we made 843rwhp on a STANDARD DME! We JUST installed the standalone 3 nights ago. I would be driving it tonight but I ripped a coolant line in half like Titan, Wes, and other members due to hitting the motor mount. Oh well there will be more tuning done when I get this all taken care of. I don't think we'll make any more power than before, but you never know.
Sorry to interrupt your thread Scott, but I felt a need to clarify something if in fact it was directed towards my car, and or the company that built my car.
You think you are going to make it to TX2K10 this year?

I want to say damn that sucks, but damn that's even more AMAZING I just hope there is some underlying truth to what I have always said, a properly setup GT2 even for a claimed lower HP and tq rating then let's say a supercharged Viper with 800 crank (my friends), pulls so much harder and differently in my experiences.. BUT, there are many other variables that come into play as well, who really knows, can't wait to see new numbers for it!

Thanks! - It'll be 2 years in April
I don't check the 996TT forum too much these days, but something drew back in - Somehow relaying, "Scott has acquired a GT2"
BTW, check out my YouTube page, i have many F360 videos and a few with the E55 AMG as well

I actually was not referring to your car...
I think you got me wrong on that one... you have a good set up

I hope this isn't said towards me because Boost Logic's kit made more power than yours? There is no where we have attacked you at all, in fact I like your kits design because it is a very clean setup like mine also. But regardless the way you described it, your kit is no where near a bolt-on mod either.

Scott...nice car. I'm new to this forum but wanted to comment on your GT2. Looks like we have a good about of enthusiasts in the MD/VA area. Do you guys ever have meets anywhere, would love to say hi and have a chance to meet some fellow enthusiasts...

Holy thread revival!
Thanks for the compliments, guys. I absolutely love the car.
Sunir - I believe there are some PCA meets every in a while, but I've never been to one. I would, however, be open to attending a local 6speed meet one day.
