Just drove home and I was able to do 1 pull before the rain started up again. My initial thought is amazement. My shift points before this mod were at 6650-6750. At WOT, 2nd to 3rd it shifted quick and hard at 7k and came right back to 7k in 3rd and shifted just as good. I would be very surprised if this mod alone doesn't gain me 3-4 tenths in my 60-130.

 

I wonder if your lower shift point previously contributed to staying in the efficiency range of the turbo more than you will now.

 

That may be true. I'll have to experiment with shift points. The biggest improvement is the shift speed. That is where I'll gain better times.

 

I love it so much, I'm going to go hug my car right now...

Glad you like it so far. I totally agree with the 7k shift on 2nd and the next thing you know it is 7k on 3rd again (that was one of the first things I noticed). Like I said, I never had a problem between 3rd and 4th; hope yours improved.

I especially like the down shift... just a little touch and it shifts.

 

I'm dying to track it this weekend. I have so much hope in this really improving my times.

 

If your turbos still have juice after 6750, you'll sure improve your time... good luck.
