Absolutely. My car (with street tires) blinks the light all the time with the PSM off. It was 45 degrees the other night, a smidge more boost too, and I've never felt my car run so hard...

Time to put the DR's on, and go for a new best!

I've got this code too, how do you do the smoke test? Actually it went away once Al Norton cleared it for me with his Durametric and has not come back, but I'd like to locate a boost leak if I have one.

TIA

My buddy owns a shop and has a smoke machine. It's a purpose built tool to find evap leaks. I actually narrowed my problem down with a regular boost leak test, the smoke machine just got me to narrow it down faster. These machines can be expensive.

I see. My issue is a really funky one, my brakes are acting up and every time I pump them to get some pedal feel into them, the idle gets irregular for a quick second. I threw that code because of pumping the brakes. How odd is that?

I'm thinking it's an ABS issue, because the rest of the brake system is hydraulic.

Do a search Dez, it seems some people have narrowed that problem down to a brake light switch? I know sounds nuts, but I seem to recall something like that. GL

Yeah, I've seen most of them, they seem to be all unique and varying in range of symptom. I suppose the idle issue could be the MAF, Coils, Boost leak or Alternator (which sucks that it could be so many things), but considering I don't get the problem unless I'm steadily pumping on the brakes which I shouldn't have to be doing anyways I'm going to start with this mushy pedal issue first.

Good find Mike, Do any of you guys have more pixs so we can find this area and zip tie the lines or is it something that has to be done with the motor lowered?
