Tim(colorchange) here are the manheim auction results for 2003 Turbos

11/18/04 Manheim $90,500.00 1603 miles silver
11/12/04 Laud/MIA $97,500.00 3513 miles blk (maybe x50)
10/05/04 DFW $89,000.00 5652 miles silver
11/09/04 FAAO $82,800.00 12,238 miles Red
10/21/04 Manheim $85,500.00 19,930 miles black

Seems wholesale is closer to $90k although, as I said I found three cars with low miles listed for $99k, most others were way over that. Even offered at $100k, I'll bet the avergae Turbo driver won't find a price that cheap. ****, look at the Exchange, they would probably ask $115k for your car!! Good luck

THese cars have gotten so cheap!!!!!

I stole my 01 with 13k a year and a half ago for 89,000. I could now move up two years and get a 03 with the same miles for 6 grand less. What happened to the days of driving a Turbo for a year and not losing any money.

Would you be able to post the 02 figures? I am considering a red one with 30k miles.

Thanks

Those were the days before the internet/stock market bubble. The boom&bust allowed many average joes to buy/lease a $120k car and flip it when they're tired of it or could no longer afford it. Porsche saw the opportunity to produce and sell more to meet demand.

Remember the list price of the 01TT is actually less than the 993TT? Well, if Porsche had raised the base price of the 996TT then the market may have been less diluted. But Porsche wanted to go for volume instead. Loyal owners suffer.

Were you at the Manheim PA sale. If so, I go up there every 2 months or so and would like to meet up with you at the sale. Maybe grab a beer after.

It's very far for me to go there (obviously not as far as it is for you...LOL) so I only go there when I have a special order from a customer. This week I needed an 02 ES300, an 02 GS300 and an 03 X5 for three customers. I'll let you know in advance the next time I go. I may need another GS and an S500 on the 16th.
