Vividracing Stage 2 versus Switzer L2 for 996TT
#106
I actually come to 6 speed to get away from threads like this which I get on m3forum.net and g35driver.com.......
Not 1 damn post on this thread compared the 2 kits, thats a shame..as someone in the market for a 01-03 996 tt doing their research on what kit to buy I have learned nothing in the post besides who has too much time on their hands.

Since you're new to the Porsche tuning market, I suggest something simple to guide you in your due diligence: call each tuner and spend 15 minutes talking with them. Ask them for performance data. Then research who the disgruntled customers are and pm them for their perspective. No use in speaking with the happy customers - you won't learn as much and they may be happy for different reasons. Lastly, rank what is important to you: Price? Service/Support? Quality? Performance? Since you're spending a lot of money, a few hours of real research vs online entertainment will help you avoid mistakes.
And you should also call EVOMS and Proto.
Good luck.

We are actually done with the "L" series packages, like many shops that have the "Level 2" or "Stage 2", are now P for pump gas and R for race gas, or E for ethanol.
In place of the L2, we have the P700 best value package which has our custom aero profile billet wheel K16's.
They spool faster than stock turbos, the only thing that spools harder than these are the SPI custom design TiAL Alpha 28's, which can be found in our P800 package.
If you have any questions please call, email, or PM me.

6speed is a marketing/entertainment forum - as are most forums. That being said, after 6 months or so, you can observe which members know what they're talking about and then you take real issues to PM. You will rarely get true answers as the individuals who own the IP don't really post on here anymore.

What Ohio stated is true about making some calls. If you go down this list and call these tuners you can get a lot of info. The top 10 has your original two choices in it, so start there as you seek the truth.
