Startup issues with the clutch pedal

I currenty have to pump the clutch several times before I can get the car to fire.

Is there a microswitch I have to clean or replace ?
Is there away to disable this feature ?

thank you in advance

There is a switch. I had this problem after the car sat through the winter. It's hard to miss if you stick your head under that dash. Sits high near the top of the pedal arm. I jiggled (tech term ) mine a few times and it has not given me a problem since.

They installed a jumper between the switch leads. It makes the car think the car has the clutch in.
