Congratulations to both! Hey Peter, how much slower is your GTR if you leave it in automatic mode? Just curious.

 

Dennis - yea yea yea, I've known you long enough to know that you are up to no good! I have to bring the Supra out of the garage to run with you!!!!!

Steve - it's typically 0.05 - 0.10 seconds slower in auto mode...I found shifting about 500 rpm before redline gives me the best numbers. The stock pea shooters are soooo small they struggle up top.

Excellent! That means you could potentially sip your favorite beverage and still click off a high 10 in automatic mode. Not a bad way to run a 10.

 

I think Todd missed a shift.
Damn I think that "excuse" has already been used.

 

I think he is actually using the "my exhaust flows too freely" card.

 

I think the higher shift points are hurting a bit. That and the fact that Todd ate at the CiCi's Pizza buffet on the way to the track.

 

The fact that Todd spun in first gear definately killed his ET but that's the reason his MPH was so high. It's common for cars that spin and complete a full pass to have a higher MPH... Nevertheless, this past weekend was a blast!
