Well... as I haven't had time to wash the car since it arrived, I am including a few images (attached) that were taken from its previous owner - who, by the way, also frequented this forum.

It's a 2003 Turbo X50, 23000 miles, carbon package, sport seats, painted console and seat backs, with some additions (flashed ECU, B&M short shifter, Forge DVs, clear bra, Pioneer stereo to mention a few). Saw it on eBay, flew over to California to get the full scoop, bought it and had it shipped (as we all know by now).

It's now roaming the streets of Virginia with me at the helm and my little one in the back on his booster seat that has a grin even wider than mine!
You must be kicking yourself for flying all the way out there to look at it, buy it and not take that opportunity to do a cross country! That would kill me!!

Beautiful car. Looks like you have the same stereo that I have.

Meh, 2800 miles, at least 5 full days on the road with few stops, flat and straight highways, not exactly my idea of a vacation. I didn't have time to turn it into a cross-country adventure (like over 10 days or so), so shipping was the only viable alternative.

Yeah, the stereo is a Pioneer DEH-P6000UB with a Jensen amp. I just added Bluetooth and SAT: truly all I need at this point.

There is a scammer on Autotrader trying to sell you car, http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...5&cardist=2442

This is the responses that I got from him, he needs to be reported!

Hi again,
Here you have the VIN# WP0AB29933S685082.The car is at the shipping company, sealed and ready for shipping.I have a contract with eBay so this deal must go through them.According with eBay you have 5 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
Here is how it will work:
First of all I will need the following details from you:full name, full shipping address. After I will receive the details from you,I will forward them to eBay.After they will process your info, they will send us both invoices. The invoice will send you the details on how to make a refundable payment.eBay will contact me and I will ship the car to you. After you receive the car you will have 5 days to test, verify and do whatever you want with the car.If you will buy it,then I will receive the payment details from eBay so that I can pick up the money.
If you will decide that you will not buy the car,eBay will refund the money and I will have the shipping company come pick up my car.If you wish to make the transaction, please send me the necessary info so that we can proceed.I look forward to hear from you.
Thank you!

If you got this car for 25K, lucky you. Well worth the investment. Worth $45K.

I saw many of these scams lately. Underprice lists, copy vin from someone and do transaction via ebay contracts. Why do they not get arreested?

I agree, these type of scammers need to be caught and handed HUGE punishments. The problem is that many of these scams are conducted overseas through proxies and very difficult to track. Even when able to be tracked, due to international laws (or lack thereof) with countries such as Nigeria etc. the FBI who is responsible for these types of crimes, have very little they can do other than trying to work with the law enforcement agencies of the host countries which are riddled with corruption.
