Thanks everyone I do have launch control on it but with new tranny & clutch it was all over again just like the Mile event, no practice and just launch your a$$ off Again, my goal was the MPH not the e.t. for now. With this new tranny the car goes up to 65mph in first gear Joe. Scott, the 1/8mph was 111 on Mid-boost. Glad you guys liked it. Now the new 60-130 test coming up with new clutch and set up.
65 in 1st?? LOL...you may the 1st person in a Porsche to ever perform a 2nd to 3rd gear, 1-shift, 60-130 run.

awesome speed Art. But did I see a 4.13 60ft time that can't be right.
If that is in fact the case you might just get the fastest 1/4 ever if you can drop the 60t down into the low 2's high 1's. WOW! 150 is definitely in the near future.

Art,
I looks like you have gone to a 3:17-1 ratio first gear. Two to four mm's of stroke will have you coming out of the hole like the new first gear was a stock ratio.
What rpm were you launching and shifting?

LC is set at 5000rpm and shifting was at 8000rpm. I was just getting used to it until the radiator hose popped

But what ratio are you using for first gear? It appears with your first gear speed at redline of 68 mph that the ratio is 3:17-1 or very close to that.

Great effort with what sounds like a not so clean running engine. Seems to stumble some under load. Maybe its the video, but this engine should run real clean and not change engine note once the clutch is released. Sounds on the video the engine note drops not rising.
Get that thing tuned and you will be down that strip in less time.
It's all about doing it, testing and fine tuning.
Well done.
