I'm pretty sure I understand what Betim did.

Ask Betim what he thinks some mm's added to your stroke would do to those gear ratio's. The torque would come on much sooner and a lot stronger.

 

from what i hear m42racer seems to have some healthy connections and been around alot of high end 996's every car can be tuned more.

Yes, m42racer has some exceptional connections. One of those connections did some of the work on Art's car.

If you were to look at the video it appears the car is bogged down just a little. m42's conclusion could be made if the gearing was thought to be stock.

I believe people need to step back and ask themselves if perception is really reality? Next, opinions are just that, they can be correct or they can be incorrect. Everyone needs to keep an open mind, ask questions and hopefully learn something.
