This is getting SCARY!!! I'm getting to where I can't read my own thread any more... I think we're going to go with the Recaro Toplines with black leather/gray suede inserts/red thread.

I'm pretty set on the exterior. Really like it a lot. I wanted an Aerokit rear wing instead of GT2 but now that it's on, I'm liking it more and more. Plus, I didn't want to be robbed for the Aerokit wing price!!!
I just want to drive it for awhile without having to think about which shop it's going to next.
BTW, we're going ahead and having the timing belt switched out, oil change, 997 SSK/steering wheel/metal foot pedals installed and fuel filter swapped while it's being worked on.

Awesome mod thread, and congrats on a beautiful car. The route you are going (and the speed at which you are proceeding), is exactly what I would have done if I wanted to be divorced!
My Dad has an 07 Targa 4s, and both of us having porsches at the same time has provided hours upon hours of great father/son time that I'm sure would have been spent differently were it not for these fun cars!
Just curious, why change out the timing? Was the engine removed to facilitate the clutch change?

Engine was removed to do the clutch and to install intake piping. The plenum is much easier to install with the engine out also. Plus the plugs are easier to reach to check the coils. Etc... I was told by someone wise that if you have to do more than 2 things to the engine you might as well drop it. The drive belt is being replaced because it comes up in about 12000 miles on the 60K mile service.
