The M6 board that I used to hang out on have had a "sticky" warning about this for quite awhile. You might take a look at it before investing. I've never been involved in anyway with them, just thought you might be interested in this other thread

There was a thread on this board that followed how DST was making good for 360's promises, but activity just died there. I'm very interested to hear what happened with the specific guys in the thread, and several questions that went unanswered from it. The most important, I guess, is what overlap in people and liabilities between these two companies exists. I think Chuck was involved with the last thread, and can maybe shed some light. I hope that all of these problems have been worked out, as they were never accused of designing an ugly product. Unfortunately, that's just part of the process in getting something perfect to a customer.

 

Indeed, 1badgt2, did you report this to that mods ? for a forum sponsor to do this is unacceptable !!!!! i think this needs to be adressed immediately .. they need to give you your money back and for your troubles give you the wheels for free.... i hate when vendors on here do this.

Thank you guys. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. It is not so much the money that bothers me as much as the empty promises that someone made to me. I am at the west end of the country and really had no way of dealing with these guys. I saw they were a sponsor on this thread, had done business with some of the people, and as such I thought they were trustworthy. I guess I will think twice next time.

 

It sound like you were one of the ones affected by this Jordan character! Much needs to be said and done about this guy and his past affiliation with 360 Forged but this Jordan guy has nothing to do with 360 Forged any longer. It's like this, create fame and go to sleep and thats what this guy did. Forged distributing has fixed many issues with affected customers.Something that we did not have to do. Because we want our customers and future customers to know we are here for them, when they mention any of our brands we get nothing but good feed back. Needless to say our way of doing business is rated A+.

 

As an affected customer, is there anything you can...or want to do...to assist me in correcting my problem. Did you purchase the rights to 360 Forged and did that include any of their product? Might you know where my BBS centerlocks might be? They are not a very common wheel, plus mine were powder coated in a charcoal color. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I would assume if you know 360 Forged, then you must have known of this "Jordan character". Thank you.

 

Hmm really ? does not look like it from your rep point, thats a lot of red . fact of the matter is , that this member is a good person , and paid for wheels he never got , i think its only fair since you own the rights to 360 forged wheels , that you make it right and send him his wheels or money back which ever he wants.

depending on how you choose to go about this, will speak volumes about your character on here,also with other members, and future purchases , me included .

 

Wow! Its hard to even say if you will ever retrieve your wheels again. We wish we can make your wheels appear but who knows what that guy did with your wheels and money.I sure hope that you were able to file a chargeback and retrieve your funds. I heard of all the bad business this guy did with lots of customers. If it's even lawful to say thats business.

Interesting. That is exactly what he told me...file for a charge back. Problem is, when I called Wells Fargo to do so, they said you cannot file for a charge back on a VISA debit card as it is like using cash, unlike a true credit card. The fact is, you either have the money or you do not. Apparently they had no money. I still am curious, how did you get the rights to use the "360 Forged" brand if you did not purchase the rights from the original owners. Jordan was the owner, unless he lied to me about that as well.

 

Not to highjack the tread, but I recently purchased some 360 forged wheels from Jon at Wheel Boutique who really hooked it up with a great price, product and service. The brand is alive folks, as my 360 forged straight 5 wheels look flawless on my CLS55...If Forged DST does own the 360 brand, then that means WB went through them to get the wheels and therefore they delivered on time as promised, unless wheels boutique makes the wheels in house...but again i doubt they make 360 in their back room.

 

No, I'm simply upset with what happened to 1badGT. It's apparent you are trying to put as much distance between yourself and the "previous" company as possible but are apparently selling some of the same goods? What's the story? Frankly after what happened to him there's no way I'd touch anything you guys have simply because it's waaay too easy to claim change of ownership and keep right on doing business. What assurances can you possibly provide that this wouldn't happen again? What's the story?

 

If the orginal company was bought out/change of ownership, the new management is responsible and liable for all previous unfinished transaction, imo

not only will this solve the original buyers problems, but will also save and increase the reputation of the new company

 

I agree !!!! sounds like DST is talking in circles has they haven't responded precisely to 1badgt2's questions.

Rumor has it that DST still has most of the original players in it from 360 forged .

Dst are you willing to step up and make this right?? simple yes or no .
