Painting BBS LM Rims Black??

Hi all,

What would you guys say to painting silver BBS LM rims to black? I will soon be acquiring a CF wing, and it would be nice to have the rims match. Would some of you consider it "ruining" the LM? Let me know your opinions, thanks!

The combination of heat and tire changes and the paint will chip off in pieces over time. Better to just get them powdercoated.

IMO, if you don't like the silver, then go ahead and paint it . That way it will match your wing.
Let me know if you would like a few recommendations. Good luck.

Take a look at this link for varying finishes on the lm.

I personally think the silver (and full polish) looks the best. If you do get them done in black, please do a high gloss powdercoat

I recently took some 590r's and wanted the black. I ended up going with powder coat and am so happy i went that direction as apposed to paint. They have a ton of dif shades and finishes.. Plus, it isn't expensive!
