One short philips screwdriver to get access by removing the air inlet ducts.

One 10mm wrench to release a locking nut.

One allen (size I don't know) to adjust the angle, about 6 half turns make enormous difference, I had to adjust back to 3 half turns to make the bank at Cali Speedway without too much understeer.

This wing is really efficient and really responsive to small changes in angle. This is another good reason to not buy one with no adjustment, since if the pre-set angle on a cheap non-adjustable wing is wrong you may get your balance screwed up and no chance to adjust it to be right.

Easy choice imo.

Re wiring you can use your old harness and just wire together two wires for one microswitch, and isolate two other wires that goes to the other microswitch. There is a thread describing which colors to isolate and which to connect.

Or do what I did, just move the harness over from the Turbo lid, leave the micro-switches alone and make sure they don't touch anything. No light unless you press your rear wing button. Tested for more than 1000 miles at track and freeway and streets driving.

Love the look of the car. Are you using spacers or GT2 wheels? Both?

Hmmm, my Misha doesn't adjust that way, there is just a bolt/nut combo that I'd need to rig up some washers and such. Very aggravating to get to and deal with. Maybe I can buy something that will attach to the bolt and allow me to adjust it the way you describe.

Don't know if you have the same hinge hardware. Done right with the hardware/hinge I have which looks pretty much like the OEM version, the small allen screw sets the "resting" position of the wing hinge = limit how near "flat" the hinge can go.

Then the threaded integrated bolt which comes downwards from the hinge locks the wing so it won't flap with a single 10mm nut with built in washer.

When you drove over 75mph i would think the light would go off. Did you have to retract the stock TT wing before removing the harness?

I removed my 996TT lid when the wing was down, didn't want to store it with the wing up.
Never had any light come on at any speed.

Thanks for the quick reply. its so difficult finding answers on this forum as most dont check in regularly. I'm installing the Misha GT2 decklid and people have said i would need to get a wiring harness to clear the light. So im getting the impression that i shouldn't have any issues with the OEM Turbo wiring harness on this conversion.
