0.7 Bar - 1.0 Bar Performance difference?
#17
Definite SOTP difference. I've had my 02 996tt for almost 8 years. Only a few months ago did i decide on a flash (at 56K). The car now jumps to 0.9 bar in an instant. My AWD now has a hard time keeping the car from slipping during hard takeoff (using standard continental n2). PSM now kicks in much more often during hard cornering(and saved my *** more than once). I definitely have to pay more attention. 135+mph on the highway if you forget to blink. You can now also notice the lack of power below 3K much more.

Listen to the voices...
Is a remap to give 0.7 bar to 1.0 bar increase worthwhile? Is it just 'slightly' better or 'drastically' better and how is the power delivered i.e sooner spool up and for longer (appreciate this will vary slightly by map but overall) My car has stock K16's.
Thinking of having this done in combination with the TJW exhaust mod (pure genius BTW)
Should I just listen to the 'little voices' and get it done?...
Thanks
Jim

But, seriously it was really worth it. And this is without changing the exhaust just changing the DV's (diverter valves, a must). Have fun with it.
And once you start you'll definitely want more.
