I'm a road racer, it's a road racing engineering and fabrication company, they said they would want to build this product on my car and I said "works for me"!

I know they have their priorities right for what I need, so to fill in the blanks on some above questions, it's about finding extra max hp number, for leaving one gear at top hp (or just above) and landing on max torque in the next gear. Low end is fun but I don't need it for my purpose.

Good to hear the added input re the Dynojet. If that is the true case then I think I definitely have more "real" power to find with the same kind of AF and not hurting the engine.

It's a Dynapack dyno actually. Don't know how that is compared to Dynojet and Mustang (b/c they all do adjustments/calculations to compensate for whatever factors that affect the number).

This is the "baseline" (= unknown 1.0 bar flash, OEM exhaust, 91 pump gas). The hesitation at 4k I can sometimes easily feel just when driving, pretty sure it's temperature related but pretty annoying. I'll post up graphs after they put on the exhaust.

Question: Whats the upside/downside with a X-style och H-style exhaust vs 2 separate tubes = one tube out form each cylinder bank?

Here some facts and pics:
- Separate pipes (1 per bank = no X interaction)
- 1 x metal core 300 cel race cat on each Turbo (so 2 cats total).
- Two serial open flow stainless steel muffler cans on each tube, before exit on the other side.
- Muffler cans packed parallell where OEM usually sits (so 4 cans in total)

It will look nice that's one thing that's for sure.
Weight should be awesome compared to stock.

Mainly a bit of drone reduction and because its the "cool" thing to do. Some will say "scavenging effect" and "balancing pulses" but we're talking post turbine here (where scavenging is out the window), not some NA car.

Me too! Talked to them on the phone about 1 hour ago, he said car would be ready to pick up tomorrow afternoon, so in other words they are putting it on the dyno tomorrow.

I highly recommend Marek's exhaust. I have been through several exhausts, some that cost almost 8 grand; however, the fit, the quality and the perfomance I discovered in Marek's exhaust is light years ahead of what I have previously owned. Plus, he gave me a 100 percent guranantee! Who else offers this kind of customer service?

I was about to go pick up the car at 4pm when I got a text, they were asking to finish the dyno job during the evening. That always happens when there's R&D going on, and I am supposed to pick up the car tomorrow 10 am instead.

That IS cool because I rather have them be thorough and do a good job than not.

I did receive a hp number though they ran on my old 1.0 bar tune...(which is the one we're "guessing" about in this poll), that I think will surprise more people than myself, I am pretty stoked.

It makes me speculate that the tune was originally made for open exhaust, but then someone just put back the OEM exhaust on it before sale, and that's how I bought it.

Will not tell all though til I have the dyno sheet in my hand to show the curve, sorry about the delay, but it's well worth it for anyone who likes good HP but want to stick with OEM K16.

Will also post up vid with sound impression etc as well.

Stay tuned (literally)!

Run comparing the 1.0 bar flash with OEM exhaust vs run with same 1.0bar tune and new exhaust bolted on. Big gain IMO but also Dynapack reads high on changes I understand. Seat of pant is getting confused due to sound level (very cool growl), I will make some PBox runs Monday.

My speculation is that the flash must have been originally made for an open exhaust, and then previous owner traded the car in with OEM exhaust (and then I bought it like that).
