The beauty of Kevin/UMW is that your car will be tuned individually, not some canned mass produced crap-*** tune.

Kevin sends you a "base" file to load, you do some runs and datalog, email the logs to Kevin and he returns an adjusted file to install. All UMW installs are individually tuned.
This is especially an issue at 6000'+, there are a few us of us running 600-650 hp on 91octane at altitude with stock internals.

Does UMW have any device that allows for remote map switching? Like from a pump gas file to a race gas file? I dont like using a boost controller, but was wondering if anyone had a bluetooth based map switching device.

Yep, I have a program loader that I can load one of multiple files for just this purpose. (edit: you can only load one file into the dme at a time).
Controversially, I don't like boost controllers either, I trust Porsche's safety mechanisms, don't think bluetooth is an option at this time.

Bone stock and running well but realizing there are some strong runners out there. Don't typically street race unless conditions are right and raced a friend with a modified 335 which managed to stay half a car ahead until about 120. Two days later an evo managed to stay in my blind spot longer than i expected.
Not totally surprised but surprised non the less.
Want to keep it simple and reliable and new to the forum thing but see so much info its fascinating but mucho to read.

Flash and exhaust and he sees your tail lights every time. No need for any turbo upgrades (UNLESS YOU HAVE k16'S) . Spend your money on a good clutch instead.

"I'll give you a couple of tips... Don't "scrimp" on your tune. If it's cheap, there's a reason. Also, make sure you KNOW and can TRUST the tuner."
+ 1 on that. I don't understand ANYONE who would price shop the build on a Porsche!
Keep in mind that regardless of the price of parts, the "WHO" is much more important than the "WHAT" in your build.
You want to work with someone who is LOCAL, highly trained AND experienced, AND has an excellent local reputation.
Builders and Tuners are like Doctors and Lawyers: "The good ones are worth TWICE what they ask, and the cheap ones aren't worth HALF of what they charge!" - Dad

Not at the wheels. You'll need a bit more than a tune and exhaust to get that kinda AWHP. More likely 430-450 WHEEL Hp!
