I run a Blow Off Valve from a EVO X, works great and is a much more reliable route to go IMO.

I have my DV's mounted on my IC's with the blow through maf from protomotive and they still make a ****load of noise. I'll snap a few pics this weekend when i take the bumper off to detail the car

the bov's don't, the leaking stock BOV's recirculate some of the lb/min of airflow so it never makes it to the engine, adding bov's that don't leak ensure that all air gets to the engine...thus a gain in power

Dgreen78,
1.Does your BOV make nice whoosh sound? In your pic, it look like it circulated air back in intake. What mod# of EVO X ?
2. Your sys is not blow though, correct?
3. I try to do nice BOV sound but my sys is not Blow though.
Thanks.

1. Yes, but not that loud. They are vented back like the stock units.

"Constructed fully from Aluminum and steel, this little blow off valve is way stronger and uses a stiffer spring than the stock plastic blow off valve on Evo's and 2nd Generation eclipses. It's a 100% OEM blow off valve from the factory spec 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer VIII. "

2. Not blow thru. I went back to stock airbox after having blow thru Protomotive setup.

3. Ok.
