GIAC Tuned - Evo ICs and Speedtech Ypipe - Dyno Inside

You can see that the power (TQ) came on sooner and peaked at 20 ft/lb higher. I'm not really sure why it spooled up quicker and made more TQ. Does less timing lower exhaust velocity, temperature or volume? and therefore spool? Behind the wheel, it was more snappy to throttle inputs and had more of a propensity to spin the tires as boost came on. But the car tended to lurch and buck a bit at less than cruise speeds. It was, in a word, too "racy" IMO. I bet some would like it that edgy. I found that it wasn't a good companion to the LW Flywheel.
Hard to say exactly what was done to your tune to change things especially if this wasn't a back to back dyno pull. In any case you made improvements elsewhere and apparently the car is less hyper so it's all good

Anytime Adam.
Thanks BLKMGK.
I got a chance to really open her up last night. It was right around 50 degrees (cold for Cali). Holy Sh$t! This thing is monstrous. No traction in 2nd and 3rd is right on the edge

Ari, CONGRATS!!! The car looks like a monster and it feels good to have it all sorted. I have gone through some of my own troubleshooting/headaches recently and am very close to having the car all wrapped up for now. Sorry I missed this thread awhile back. I can't say I did much but just chat with you and help learn in the process.
We need to get together once my car is all "done" and see how they feel/compare! We have a very similar setup with just a few different parts and tuners so it should be cool to see how they compare. Let's hook up on Sunday soon!

Car has been on the road but I damaged a wheel last weekend so I'm down for a bit until I get a replacement (just sold my backups, d'oh)!
I'll be busy with a Lemons race the next two weekends so hopefully the following I will be back out in the canyons with the car all back together.
I'm still working out some final driveability issues with Tony @ EPL but the car, when running pulls hard and runs very well!

It's been a while so I thought I'd post an update. The car is an absolute hoot! The tuning is so perfect. I don't have any words other than perfect.
I have decided to put the stock dual mass flywheel in and go back to AWD. The LW flywheel is really great fun, but IMO too much of a concession on the street. My wife drove the car and said "that car is falling apart, the mufflers are rattling and are going to fall off"
It's real fun fishtailing all over the place, but with no traction in 1st and 2nd I'm hoping AWD will give me some stability back.
Will post impressions soon.
