In my s4 have a awe vent gauge, it is very "pretty" haha. What do you guys use and where do you mount them? Is there a kit that is commonly installed? TIA -Rob

The 996 has a digital boost gauge in the dash cluster, I'm betting most use that. Placing gauges in thgis car in sensible places is a major PITA I think. I want to mount both a shift light and an A/F gauge. Shift light can go on the column - it's made to - but where the heck does another auxillary gauge go like boost of A/F that's easily seen? Down on the center stack somewhere like some have done is a joke if you actually want to monitor the gauge while driving fat I'd love to see pictures of alternatives and frankly I'd use the piller if someone made a decent pod and there were no airbag concerns...

That's what a tuner would do.

eh? not sure I get your point.... Line of sight is what I want. I'd mount the shift light there if I could, and did in my previous car using a superbright water clear LED. Looking DOWN is dumb.

Take a look around for one of these.

It will allow you to monitor much more then boost alone.

?By the tune you mean the dme? With the dme you can't adjust boost on the fly like if you want to use race gas etc , you will have to change files for that, also I can adjust the set gain on it to keep torque in check.
