I'm towing it to the shop[ tomorrow for a through cleaning & blow some compressed air through all the drains, then I guess install an Interstate Battery.(I really do not now if it is a better solution or not. Recommendations?)

Good good. I usually use one of the RedTop Optima GEL ones. It "almost" fits with a minor mod to the battery tray etc... Those last longer too.

Sorry to hear Paulie. You need to drive it more, she's just begging for attention.

Don't know if I missed it but what type of battery were you using? And how long had they been on there? Also how long have you had the battery.

I think anyone who is using a tender (which is probably anyone with a Porsche) would like to know.

Damn Paulie...hate it for you brother. Think about it though, could have been a whole lot worse. Eyes, face, fire, etc. Count your blessings, get 'er fixed and enjoy the holidays!

yessir, I wasn't lucky enough to have baking soda handy and just used water. It ate into a little paint and the plastic coil pack cover. Other than that, there was no serious issue.

Good Luck with getting her all fixed up.

Sorry to hear about the damage.

The battery tender from that I purchased from Porsche, there are 5 separate warnings about venting and explosions on the first two pages alone.

I hope there isn't too much damage under the battery tray.

Why would all of us daily driver P-cars need a tender?
