Radiator Replacement Costs - $2,000?
Was told my RHS radiator is starting to leak. Conventional wisdom here is to replace both sides at same time. Quote to replace is:
$681 for each radiator
$638 for labor (indy shop)
Sound about right?
BTW, car is an early 2001 with 68k miles

Wow that's nuts!
I just had my drivers side done because it was leaking like a garden hose!
Call Pelican parts they were the cheapest i found the rad was $441.00 shipped.
Labor should not be any more then 300-400 max

These radiators come with endtanks that are plastic, which can compound the problem of cost... That said, When I whacked a groundhog on track at about 135MPH, The guys at Suncoast jumped thru hoops to help me out with a center radiator replacement, along with all the associated support brackets, nuts, bolts, tabs, plastic gizmos...
I have no clue what an indy would charge you, but removing the front bumper and fenderliners to expose the radiators takes less than an hour. The coolant will cost you a fair amount, and don't be surprised if your intakes for each radiator are cracked, with the age/mileage. I don't see each radiator being $600+ bucks, but hey, porsche did have an increase on parts in the fall...
Maybe our friends at Suncoast can help!?!?

Each side radiator is 400ish and the center is a little cheaper...Not too bad to DIY, but a pain to bleed coolant and coolant is expensive.

Hey Dean. Are you sure it's the radiator? I had this problem last year.

I sometimes get steam coming from my rad, not sure which one, im thinking of getting a local fabricator to make me some better ones, and also run some silicone hoses. Are all three water rads? Also does anyone have advice on properly bleeding the system

I had the same problem. They leak at the end tanks I replaced all 3.....I sell them at a great price....PM me for details.
FYI book time pays 5.2 hours to do both so the labor really isn't that high just a reg book price for a shop that works on flat rate.
