What does the 997TT need to have?

What does the 997TT need to have to restore the 911 Turbo's place at or near the top?

If you could design the 997TT, what changes would you make from the 996TT?

Curious to hear people's thoughts.

Better suspension would be tops. Lighter weight and more HP next.

I find it doubtful that the will break the 500hp mark in the 997tt. Maybe the 998 but Porsche thinks with thier pockets.

It needs a 3.7 or better porsche rated 0-60, a 8.0 or better 0-100, a slalom over 70, a skidpad over 1.00g, and a starting price tag around 100K.

I see lots of desire for " less weight " but we all know it won't happen. Current Turbo is 3550 lbs or more with full gas tank. I'm sure the 997Turbo will be at least 3600-3625 lbs due to the same safety ( re: weight ) features added to improve the 997S crashworthiness . 997 cabs , based on 1964 archtecture, require 150 lbs extra reinforcement. So figure a future 997 Turbo cab with slushbox at a porky 3900- 4000 lbs - like an M5 or E55 !
