Is there a "ROW M030 Springs and Shocks" for TT
Looking at an 01 which is supposed to have been upgrade with "
ROW M030 Springs and Shocks". Owner says this isn't the X74 suspension.
Is there such a thing? If so, how much lower is it supposed to be than stock and should it handle better than stock or am I still going to want coilovers for the street!
Thanks.

Yes there is such a thing. I used to have it on my 01 when I acquired it. I have since upgraded to PSS10s and H&R swaybars. They aren't really worth more than stock and most could not even notice the difference. I highly recommend aftermarket coilovers and swaybars.

The MO30 springs and shock are ROW parts. They are lower and handle much better than the US suspension. I don't think they were offered as an option in the US so he must have had them added later. (I converted to MO30 springs, Koni adjustable sport shocks and turbo sway bars on my 993na and they worked great.) The X73 is a sport suspension option on the 996tt which are even lower provide better handling ability. However to buy them, they are expensive compared to many of the after market adjustable coil over systems. The cost effective solution appears to be the Bilstein PPS 10 system. If you like the car and think it is a fair price, buy it and you can alway upgrade to an adjustable coil over system at a later time if you feel you need to.
