OK, cleaned off everything and took it for a ride.
When I came back, I saw leaks at the top and bottom of both radiators, where the hoses come in (back of the radiators, away from the front of the car). Would that indicate O rings ?
Attached pictures show all 4 points.
Anybody had a similar experience ? Recommended fix ? I'm leaving for a business trip on Monday and this is my daily driver, so I would have to drive it to the airport. Should I order a limo and leave the car home ?

Kind of surprising for such an expensive car. Second year of ownership and already had to deal with the slave/accumulator and now this...
Your car is 6 years old and modded. I had to replace my passenger-side radiator when my 996TT was 7 years old. My slave as well. Things break on used cars, regardless of how much we pay for them. You might as well get used to it.

You gotta keep taking bolts off until you see the problem. The radiators hang on a bracket. You can unbolt the bracket and let the radiator hang by the bracket so you can see all around it. I don't think you should drive it if it's leaking that bad, from 2 sides no less?

I have a problem similar to this,
Under pressure there is a leal front right rad area, when I open the filler cap in the Eng bay, the leak stops,
Does this indicate a loose connection or fitting. The rads themselfs are not soiled with fluid, just a small pooling of fluid at the outboard, deep corner.
The drip it self is at the most inboard , rear location of the stock front spoiler.
Ant comments or experince with this will help.

Similar problem here. Could be just the O-ring seal at the radiator hose. Most coolant leaks occur only under pressure, so your experience with removing the radiator cap makes sense, but isn't helpful for diagnosis.

Here is what I recommend that you do:

> Remove RF tire and inner front fender liner. The liner comes out with 5 torx head screws (4 in front of the tire, one at the front underneath where the fender liner meets the bumper cover), one philips head screw where the chin spoiler meets the fender liner at the bottom, and one plastic push-in plug underneath the signal light. Pop out the signal light by gently prying it out and forward from the back to reveal the plug. Pry it out with a screwdriver and a little swearing (at least that works for me.)

> Borrow or buy a pressure tester. Remove the radiator cap and replace with the tester. Pump it up to 15 psi and go watch where the leak is coming from.

GL and I hope it' a hose fitting. Replaced my O-rings, and it seems to be fine.

Thanks for that, I just bought the car, and parked it in the garage. I started the motor about 10 days after I bought it and low and behold a drip drip, I call the car the bank of Porsche. Specially when i priced the Muflers I want. But man when you punch it, you get every nickel out of that account. nothing like a ECU flash, high flow muflers, coil overs, new Michelins and 500 RW ponies. Thanks a gain, will post my findings and repair when I get the bumber and linner off to have a look.

Can the radiator hoses be replaced by removing the fender liners?

Yes - at least for the outboard radiators. Not the center one, though. In my car, we just replaced the O-rings in the connectors at the radiators. See the photo below of the LF. You can see the entire lower hose, and one end of the top one. The other end of the top is equally accessible.

How did you know the o rings was the problem?? was the leak at the rad compler hose connections.
The manuals says there is 5 liters of fluid going to come out when you take off the compler hose, is a large amount of fluid going to come out when i release the clips ad pull of the hose?

I can't answer the first question, but the answer to the second one is yes. You'll get over a gallon come out. Have a bucket ready. I chose to strain and reuse it.

Thanks for the info - I have to do the brakes so I may as well replace the hoses I can reach.

When the system was pressurized, antifreeze started peeing out at the connector. Before you do this job, search around a bit for details on how to fill and bleed the cooling system. One of the many things on this car that is a PITA.

Has anyone used the Snap on RadKit? I ordered one but what I don't get is that you are supposed to bleed the system cold. If the engine is cold, how does the air in the engine get bled out if the thermostat is closed?
