It is not recommended to use non "N" rated tires on any Porsche but this has been discussed to death several times before already.

Along the tire pressure lines but a little different as I am planning a longer trip on Blizzaks across Nebraska to Colorado late January and expect/hope for clear interstate and snow in the mountains.

What are people running for their Blizzak/Winter tires as I have seen widely varying pressures.

I have experimented with low pressures (30/32 PSI) in heavier snow and the grip is very good but at speed the handling is definitely worse.

However, at the higher levels as recommended for highway driving (40/45) the traction in deep snow is definitely affected.

I throw this out for experience/thoughts/opinions as I sit with the thermometer at 0F. However, I am still driving at 0F In a p-car

I think for winter I have Blizzaks at 40 all around. They turn the turbo into an unstoppable snow eater. bAn absolute gas to drive up to about 6 inches of snow. Highly recommend.

Glad to see you still tooling around at 0. Your not going to Camp 4 are you?

Street use: Stock rec 36psi FR and 44psi Rear. If my tire is 19" Michelin, should I use same number? (I saw 80shilling Post said Mich. rec. 34F 36R, track or street?)

Do your tires show more wear in the center? Because your tires are over inflated.

fdorn, thanks for the pics and to every 1 else for their input.
By running 20" wheels you are sacrificing a lot of performance with this car. 19s are about as large as you wanna go with this car.
