I am getting a Agency rollcage installed in my '01 996 TT. Which harness should I get? Can I get any brand? How many points is the normal? Is one type better than another?

I used sparco, i've seen many use schroth as well. I went with a 6 pt harness that was Hans compatible. you should look into what the regulations are with the club you are running with, some of them require turbo cars to have at least a 5 or 6 pt harness.

Is 6 much different than 5? Which one is more comfortable?

 

Hans is a head/neck/shoulder restraint. It keeps all the goodies above the shoulders in place if you happen to wreck the car... haha, obviously important, but hopefully never necessary. In regards to the question about comfort, I've only had the 6pt, so I can't really compare to the others, but I never felt that uncomfortable with them. good luck.
