Never owned Fikse before, but I'm considering ordering these wheels. Anyone have good/bad Fikse experience?

My pops had a TT for a bit @ the our old dealership with those wheels on it. They were very light and seemed strong. My problem with them... I think they looked like crap on the car, but thats just personal preference.
Here is a photo of that car:

Also another plus is the 18's fit a big brake kit (including PCCB) as this car had PCCB:

From Fikse's website. I think they look killer -- you really don't like them?

You won't find anything better in terms of quality, strength and lightness than a Fikse wheel, generally speaking, imo.

I like the simplicity. I consider the absence of the "ring of bolts" look to be a virtue.

Fikse

I have 18" Fikse Profil 13's on my TT and they're great, I happen to like the stepped lips. They do require extra care in that you have to polish the lips with a good metal polish 3 or 4 times a year because the lips are not coated. Waxing after polishing slows down the tarnishing process. Ralphe Boothe center caps like the photo above adds a nice finishing touch.

I have to say they look pretty boring and even though they're exceptional quality they don't look it.

Another vote for 'no' here.

Fikse is one of the better wheel companies out there. I had a set on my old 993 and they were beautifully made and very light. They take responsibility for the product and have tight control over thier processes. You may or may not like the wheel pictured but I can tell you that they are excellent to deal with from personal experience.

For sports cars

Fikse > HRE

For SUVs and big bodied sedans

HRE > Fikse
