Lightest 996TT Exhaust
#4
My Switzer was light (contact the vendors for weights...)....and Markski's is light. Both are cross flow in design...both sound quite good and give great power (are on 800+HP cars afaik).

it doesnt get lighter than this unless you go straight pipe and/or titanium bt those are loud. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ust-996tt.html

Well you said "I want the lightest exhaust possible" and did not indicate a price and light exhaust normally come at a price. Alternatively visit your local Pep Boys for straight pipes and bends if it is a matter of price/weight combo you are after......

2 have the loud and quite version.... with 100 or 300 cell cats and stainless steel V bands along with 1/2" stainless steel flanges mine weighs 25 lbs. and 28/29lbs.... the cats with the V bands are 8lbs. SO without cats its 19lbs for the loud version and 21 lbs for the quiet.... This is a 3 inch full exhaust ... custom mufflers... seen on some 1000+ rwhp cars... these are hand made per order... they are within your price range...

Ours weighs roughly 30lbs without the 200 cell cats, but is a 304ss crossover-in-muffler style exhaust built with heavy duty flanges on all parts, and offers no drone at all.
Sound about right JCB?

Our X-cellerator 2.5 "quiet" cross-flow in your price range and is a pretty lightweight system. It's 27 Lbs. with cat bypass / 29 Lbs. with 100 cell hi-flow cats and all hardware. PM if you would like more information...we also just added an option to re-use your OEM tips

Speedtech twin cans. $2k and a snap to install. Their crossflows sounds better at $3k.

Hi Raid... I am in exact same situation and have looked into all the new x-flow systems... think I'm going to go with Markski system, it's the lightest out there, he has also taken the time to give me accurate meter readings and when speaking with other members they have been very happy with his units... Good luck whoever you go with.

Speedtech all teh way. I just had my 2.5 excel crossover installed it is a great system. I system is light and looks great, but most importantly it sounds great under throttle not to loud and no drone. Hats of to John for a great product.
