Advice / Help with my brake noise

Today while i was driving da Gt2. I can hear a squeak while at very low speeds ...15-40mph or so. It sounds to me like brakes. Has anyone had this issue ?
These pccb's squeak alot when i feather it, but not when i press hard.
However this is the first time the squeaking noise became apparent.
Could it be something else other than the brakes?
comments/feedback appreciated.

cheers

just to clarify, the squeal goes away when you step on the brakes?

wash the car & the dust will wash out, which = no more squeal.

porscheralph is infamous around these parts
About 6 months ago my brakes (PCCB's) started making a strange sound also - a squeak/mild chirping sound - the brake pads had all failed due to several cracks in the pads on all four wheels. I had about 28000 miles on them at that point. Replaced under factory warranty by dealer to the tune of $2000! The tech said he had seen this before on PCCB's - he said the "new" pads should not do this. However the new pads have the same part number as the old ones. ???

I have PCCBs; no other issues than the occasional squealing.

I went ahead and replaced the damper shims on the calipers. These adhere to the the pads and spring "petals" tie them into the pistons (see pic). With time and heat cycling the adhesive is sticky no more (the springs also lose their spring). This helped but I still get the squeal when dust builds up (you won't see it!). All I do is rinse off the brakes when cool and the issue goes away (as Paulie said).

Danyol, I went ahead and washed the car a couple of days ago. Fixed the issue. The squeaking while driving really gave me a minutes worry but now its gone. Thank goodness.
